“Sài Gòn, anh yêu em” wins jury prize at ASEAN – China Film Festival

The movie Sài Gòn, anh yêu em (Sài Gòn, I love you), directed by Lý Minh Thắng, won the jury prize at the ASEAN – China Film Festival on December 4.

HCM CITY – The movie Sài Gòn, anh yêu em (Sài Gòn, I love you), directed by Lý Minh Thắng, won the jury prize at the ASEAN – China Film Festival on December 4.

Director Hoàng Nhật Nam and well-known director, actress and producer Jiang Wenli were on the jury panel.

In addition to screenings of more than 30 movies from across Asia, the festival organised a seminar on cultural exchanges and potential collaborations among participating South East Asian countries.

Actor Minh Tiệp, who represented Việt Nam, spoke at the seminar.

The festival was held on December 2-5 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It will be held for the second time in China’s Fujian Province next year. – VNS
