On display are mosaic paintings featuring 21 leaders of APEC economies and pictures of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

The paintings were created in a two-year art project, with the participation of ceramic artisans in the southern Dong Nai province.

In the recently-concluded APEC 2017 Economic Leaders’ Meeting, some artworks were presented to APEC leaders as gifts. The remaining paintings will be handed over to embassies of APEC members in Vietnam.

The event runs until November 21. After Hanoi, the exhibition will come to Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City in December to celebrate the success of APEC Vietnam 2017.-
